So we are outside in the front this evening. Munchkin then goes in the house. After a minute I realize this and go in after him. (can't be doing anything good in there) After I call his name several times with no answer I look out back. Didn't see him by looking, so I open the door and go out. I find him coming back onto the patio while pulling up his pants (butt sticking out). I look at him with what had to be complete horror and said "tell me you didn't just do what I think you did?" He says "well I had to pee and didn't have time to come back in the house so I just went over there!" "over where?" I said. As he points to the grass. As you are probably giggling at the thought of this (yes it is funny) it is also wrong. Also when my neighbors who have a high deck have a bunch of people over and have a great view! He has never done this before and we do not condone it at all. (I know some of you don't mind) So again, my son is half naked in the back yard. Hope this doesn't become a pattern! LOL
What have we been up to? Just trying to keep busy. We have gone swimming at some neighbors a few times. In the evenings we go on bike rides and Munchkin plays with his remote control car. Daddy did try and take his training wheels off one day. He had to hold the seat the hole time. Then he just quit and said "put those back on that is way to scary!" I go his 4 yr old pictures taken a few days ago. I only ordered 2 poses as he was a total PITA there. He decided to play limp limbs and not pose for anything. The only time we got him to laugh was when they said the word Poop! So the whole time it was does grandma have poop in her pants? Who has poop? hey if it works!! What threw him off was the lego table that he started to make a tower on and then when it was our turn some other kids were touching it and taking all the block. He was mad. Why is it that kids can't understand that if they do what you ask then it will be over quickly and they can go back to what they were doing? I really don't think it is that hard of a concept for a 4 yr old. Do you? Even when you tell them..they still ignore you.
The other day he was giving me kisses and he wanted to do them on the nose. I said why are you kissing my nose. He said "because it is so little and my kisses fit there perfectly" AWWW!
He is a cutie pie, but oh is he challenging right now. He really doesn't listen to anything or anyone. It isn't just me. He also does more naughty things now then he did when he was 2 and I expected them. I really thought 4 was going to get a bit better than 3 was but it isn't really in any way. I think it is almost worse because of him being more naughty. He is sassy and not even polite half the time. The kid has no respect. And the whining...AHHHH Stop the whining!!! The thing is that we correct him all the time. We don't just ignore it. I am soooo tired of listening to myself by the end of the day. Thank you to my mom and MIL for the days that they do take him. I need the break! Next week he is going to vacation bible school. It is from 9-12 everyday. He is already giving me a hard time about not wanting to go. I hope he likes it, but everyday may be hard. Especially since I will have to wake him up everyday. He is my sleepyhead!
I was really trying to keep up with funny things he said, but as most things I try to do these days, I forget about it. Oh well!

I love the kissing the nose part...how freaken sweet is that?
I have decided that boys are naughty in general. I swear to you that Maddox does things b/c he knows his face is too cute and will get him out of being beaten to death lol. (course now a million of your blog readers are calling CPS on me for saying "beaten to death").
My mother keeps telling me "G*d is good" and laughing at me when Maddox does his stubborn/naughty things. Payback she says lol.
Ali,
That is hysterical. I am finding age 4 challenging too. David is so gobby and rude and like you say we are onto him all the time and he can't get away with it. I have faith that it does register somewhere and any day now our patience will be rewarded.
