Updated rumors

Well what looked promising is slowly dwindling. Now they think that the cutoff is the 7th. Come on! That is only 6 days of LID again. This is just so depressing.

Current Rumors

Ok so it is getting close to the end of the month. Referrals usually hit in the first week or so of each month. The current rumors are that they may get thru the middle of Nov 05. That would mean almost 2 weeks of LID's. Still so far away but that they are getting thru more is good. Nov is also supposed to be a huge LID month. I will let you know in a week!

I talked with my SW on Tuesday and she had nothing for me. She basically said if I go to the Rumor Queen site that I know more than her! She really thinks that thing will speed up a bit after they get thru December 05 then get long again as they hit March 06 since that is suppose to be a big month again. Then speed up again. But again...this is all the same stuff they are saying on RQ. So...nothing new! We did discuss Vietnam. I have wondering about doing an adoption there while we wait but she said we would have to pull out of China in order to do it. Vietman you can't choose the sex. Not get my little girl...NO WAY! Mya you are out there for us and we will come for you when it is our time.

Thinking of you today and wishing you weren't so far away...in time and spirit. Due to the current wait times you aren't even a glimmer yet. It is so hard to think that I am waiting for something that doesn't even exist right now. You most likely aren't even conceived yet. That just makes this all so much harder. This whole process is so wonderful and strange at the same time. I don't even have a red thread to hang on to.

Secret Pals gift

I belong to a Yahoo group for all those DTC in December 2006. Most of us are actually LID in Dec. We are called the Peppermint Pearls. You can see the logo at the side. Anyways, we started a secret pals swap. You have a secret pal and every other month there is a theme and you send that person a gift. This month it was pamper the mother. My secret pal is into all the chinese stuff cause I got a bunch. I haven't gotten into anything yet, but probably should a bit. Here is the picture of what was sent. If you can't tell in the picture it included a chinese gift bag filled with lavender body lotion and spray. Two soaps wrapped in special paper from Yin Yang. A soap saver loofa that you put the soap into! Something new I haven't seen! Two rubber duckies with chinese hats and symbols on them. (Jack loved these) Three candles with the symbols on them for love, harmony and peace. A small metal box with a red ribbon taped in it and the invisible red thread saying. Lastly, a big ole bag of Reese's peanut butter cups (favorite). I love the little box with the red ribbon. I think I may carry it around with me so I always feel connected. July's theme is coming to America for the 4th of July. Hmmm that may be a tough one. What to get????

First of all, Happy Birthday to Jack. My little guy is already 3! Hurry home angel, your big brother is growing up too fast!

Referrals! I can't believe it is referral time already. Where the heck did April go? I hadnt even checked the RQ site lately but then saw a post on another board about them. I guess they are coming in today and tomorrow. They are saying the date goes thru Nov 1st. At least that is 4 days worth! Better than 2 right? That puts the current wait for referrals to 18 months. Sheesh! Will they ever get thru 2005 LID's. This is nuts! Tick tock tick tock
